K–12 Online School Enrollment

Completed by Parent or Guardian

Enrolling a child in Kindergarten through 12th Grade? A parent or legal guardian completes this application on behalf of the student. You will provide your contact information as the responsible party along with the student's academic details.

  • Student name, date of birth, and grade level
  • Previous school (if transferring)

Adult & Professional Programs

Completed by the Applicant

Applying for security training, private investigator licensing, continuing education, vocational programs, or School Safety & Leadership Training? You complete this application as the applicant. No guardian information required.

Admissions Process

What Happens After You Apply

Submit Application

Complete the online application form for your pathway. All required fields must be filled before submission.

Application Review

The ESA Admissions team reviews your application for completeness and program eligibility within 1–3 business days.

Document Verification

You may be contacted to provide supporting documents. K–12 families may be asked for birth certificate and immunization records.

Placement Confirmation

Once approved, you receive a placement confirmation with enrollment details, portal access instructions, and start date.

Orientation & Start

Complete the orientation (K–12 families attend a brief virtual orientation). Log in to the student portal and begin on your scheduled start date.

What You'll Need Ready

🎒 K–12 Enrollment

  • Parent/guardian government-issued photo ID
  • Student birth certificate
  • Proof of Texas residency (utility bill, lease, or similar)
  • Most recent report card or academic records
  • Immunization records
  • IEP / 504 documentation if applicable

🔒 Security & PI Programs

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of age (must be 18+ for security; 18+ for PI trainee)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Existing state license number (if renewing / CE only)

🏫 School Safety Training

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of employment in education (preferred, not required)
  • No prior certifications required — open enrollment

📋 All Programs

  • Completed online application form
  • Valid email address for all communications
  • Internet-connected device for online coursework
  • Completed portal registration (create account at /login first)
