What to Know About Texas Firearms Licensing
- Must be 21 years or older for LTC (18 for active military)
- No felony or Class A/B misdemeanor convictions within 5 years
- No pending criminal charges at time of application
- Not subject to a protective or restraining order
- Final license issued by Texas DPS (LTC) or TDLR (security)
