How our calendar works

Emerald Shield Academy runs on a rolling enrolment model. Most programmes admit students continuously rather than only at the start of a term, so you can begin once your application is approved, your acceptance packet is signed and your tuition arrangements are in place.

Terms below define the academic period your enrolment and gradebook are recorded against. They are the dates that appear on your transcript and certificates.

Dates are drawn from the academy's own term records. If a date here differs from something you were told, the registrar's record is authoritative — please ask.

  • Spring 2025 — 2025-01-01 to 2025-04-30 (Semester)
  • Summer 2025 — 2025-05-01 to 2025-08-31 (Summer)
  • Fall 2025 — 2025-09-01 to 2025-12-31 (Semester)
  • Spring 2026 — 2026-01-01 to 2026-05-31 (Semester)
  • Open Enrollment 2026 — 2026-05-30 to 2027-05-30 · currently open
  • Fall 2026 — 2026-09-01 to 2026-12-31 (Semester) · currently open

Registration and enrolment

  • Applications are accepted year-round through the Apply page.
  • Identity verification must be completed before an application can proceed.
  • Once admissions approves your application, you will receive an Acceptance Packet to sign.
  • Tuition arrangements must be in place before your first course session.
  • Course access opens as soon as enrolment is processed by staff.

Holidays and closures

Emerald Shield Academy delivers most instruction online and asynchronously, so coursework remains available outside office hours. Administrative offices — admissions, the registrar and billing — observe standard United States federal holidays. Requests submitted on a holiday are answered the next business day.

Questions about dates

Admissions can answer questions about starting a programme. The registrar holds the official record of your term, enrolment and transcript dates.
