High School (Grades 9–12)
Emerald Shield Academy's High School Program is designed to prepare students for college, career, and personal development. Our curriculum focuses on academic rigor, real-world application, and individualized learning pathways.
Academic Pathways
Students in grades 9–12 can choose from multiple academic tracks tailored to their goals:
- Standard Graduation Pathway – Balanced academics across all subjects
- Honors Pathway – Advanced coursework for college-bound students
- Career & Technical Pathway – Industry-aligned skills and certification preparation
- Elective-Rich Pathway – For students seeking flexible or interdisciplinary studies
Graduation Requirements
Students must complete a set number of credits across core subjects:
- English – 4 credits
- Mathematics – 3 credits
- Science – 3 credits
- Social Studies – 3 credits
- Physical Education/Health – 1 credit
- Electives – 7 credits
Course Options
High school students may enroll in a combination of:
- Core academic courses
- Elective subjects including foreign language, fine arts, and technology
- Dual-credit college courses (where applicable)
- Project-based learning modules
